Hungary, Kapital Inn B&B

We spent three days in Budapest this fall. On the recommendation of Rick Steves’s, we stayed at the Kapital Inn, a B&B. It was ideally located and included two floors of a beautifully restored building. The facility was absolutely first class with lovely air conditioned rooms. The breakfast area was very modern and our host, Albert, had fruit, pastries, coffee and juices available. He also cooks a superb omelet.
Albert, our Kapital Inn host, was very helpful planning our vacation days in Budapest. When the Syrian refugee crisis hit the train services in Budapest he went above and beyond the call of duty to assist us with some very challenging travel arrangements. He is our hero!

You're right about Kapital Inn being an exceptional place. It pulls 9.9 out of 10 points on customer ratings on Booking.com. That's very, very high for any hotel, much less a $150 per night property. Thanks for letting us know about it.
We just loved Budapest on our first trip there last year, and we'll be returning soon.

Will have to keep it in mind! Good customer service like this is becoming harder and harder to come by. Thanks for sharing!
