Hotel recommendation for Budapest

Hello! We are a mother/daughter pair travelling to Budapest and Vienna in September. Looking for a relatively inexpensive (less than $100 per night) hotel or apartment in Pest, near section V, since we will only have 3 full days to explore the city. Thanks!!

I make it a practice to stay at "charming, local" properties so I'm embarrassed to share this hotel, but it was my very first trip to Europe! We stayed at a Best Western near parliament. It was crazy inexpensive for what turned out to be a very nice hotel with wonderful staff who were really good with helping us to feel comfortable when we were really feeling overwhelmed. It was about 6 years ago, and January, so I'm not sure what kind of rate you'll get in September, but I would highly recommend them. Oh, and at least at that time, breakfast was included. It is in Pest and I think in the area that you want. http://visitbudapest.travel/budapest-hotels/best-western-premier-hotel-parlament/

you posted this in the 'Hungary Reviews' section - this is for people who have already been and are writing a review for us. You will have better responses if you ask this question in the Hungary Travel section/Destination Q&A. You can even do a SEARCH in the search bar and will find lots of recommendations.

We rented from here: http://www.goldenstarsapartments.com

All of their apartments are within your budget. They are gorgeous. We rented the two bedroom/two bathroom this summer and it was awesome - great neighborhood, easy to walk to sites, high-end decor, comfy beds. Highly recommended.

The OP was planning a September trip. Presumably they have already been and returned
