I found myself with no place to sleep for one night, do what the heck, I checked into the Corinthia. What a beautiful place! Spectacular service too. Prices in January compared to a Holiday Inn in the US.

Beautiful hotel right on the main street of St. Petersburg. Great hospitality. Staff is very good, comforting and courteous. I remember I was duped by a taxi driver for alot of money but the staff cooperated and not only they helped me but also reimbursed me in many ways. 10/10 would recommend and visit again.

Contrary to audreyspency's assumption, the hotel is in Budapest, Hungary which is why the review is listed under Travel Forum/Hungary Reviews

It is located in District VII on the outer loop road (Erzsébet krt.) about where Erzsébet krt. intersects Kiraly utca and very near the 4/6 Tram stop and a brief walk from the M1 Metro at the Oktogon on Andrassy ut.
This place is pretty pricey most of the year, but off season it's pretty reasonable.

Great hotel and superb service.
For a splurge get a room with spa and lounge access. It’s really nice to hop into the spa after a long day out and about. The hot water and jets just relaxes all the muscles and I end up with a great night’s sleep. The lounge has a nice selection of light foods and a good selection of beverages. The house red wine was really nice.
Also breakfast is either in the restaurant or out in the covered atrium. I tried both areas and they were both enjoyable. The foods very good too. Extensive selection.
