Your favorite seafood restaurant in Chania?

We enjoyed a seafood dinner by the sea at Kertos in Neo Chora. but our favorite restaurant in Chania is Colombo. Our worst meal in Chania was at Tamam's, which is highly recommended by some but we found both food and service lacking on our last visit in May 2024.

If you’re new to Greece, be aware that in restaurants, fish is sometimes priced by the portion and sometimes by the kilo (or etto).

If you are considering a whole fish, confirm the price before ordering or you might have a surprise when the bill comes!

Tara — I just called them for a reservation about a day ahead. Once we stopped by while out walking & reserved a table for that night. We eat earlier than most Greeks (around 7 or 7:30 pm) & seldom have a problem getting a table. Google Colombo Kitchen Chania & you’ll find all their info. Hope you enjoy!
