We were considering staying in Nafpaktos for a night, but now questioning it due to lots of traffic, lack of parking, etc. Any recommendations for other places to stay? Thanks!

Take a look at Delphi.

I drove from Meteora to Delphi in early-May, and depending on your interests it is well worth the trip. If you do go to Delphi I'd recommend driving to Mystras via the Rio-Antirrio Bridge

Thank you both for your help. We had booked and paid for a room in Nafpaktos, but when we arrived, we enjoyed driving through town, but didn't feel the need to spend the night after all. Lost a little money, but knew we'd be happier moving on. Had been to Delphi previously and also Olympia, but decided to return to Olympia for the night (Hotel Europa - wonderful!) as we were headed to Mystras the following day. Actually there now and staying at Mystras Grand Palace Hotel, which is quite beautiful. Toured Mystras today. Off to Limeni Village tomorrow. Thanks again.
