Where to rent a car in Santorini?

We rented from Tony's Rent a Car. It was a short walk from our hotel in Firostefani to their office. The staff are very nice and the rate was reasonable. Our car was an older model with handles to roll down the windows. (Nothing was automatic.) Not sure if this matters to you.

I always recommend Vazeos in Oia, Tony's in Firostefani, Spiridakos in Fira and Motor Inn in Kamari Beach.

I'm thinking Tonys has closed because I've already sent several forms on their website and emails and they don't respond.

We just returned from a trip and rented a car through AutoEurope, and the local company was Volta4U. We picked up and returned our car from the airport. The folks at Volta4U were very friendly and helpful, and the car was in great shape.

I have a second suggestion for Vazeos. It was recommended by La Perla Villas, where we are staying. They were very easy to work with, even working with us to pick up in Oia and return near the ferry port, saving us money in not having to pay for a transfer there.
