We are flying into Athens & would like to visit one more island. We have 5 nights. We are four adults traveling together. What island do you suggest?

Possibly Hydra since it’s a quick ferry ride and can be done as a day trip. Check out a YouTube walking tour of Hydra and see if looks appealing to you.

While Hydra is a lovely island there's one even closer and has more to offer.
It has everything one would want in a Greek Island?
The island is Aegina which would be perfect for a day trip or split your 5 days with 2 in Athens & 3 in Aegina.

Unless you are particularly interested in the place where Leonard Cohen lived, as well as many other artists, writers, poets, painters during the sixties, the choice of Aegina also seems to me more judicious than Hydra.

Check out Nafplio then Monemvasia as an alternative to an island, if you are comfortable driving so close to your travel days.
