What to do in Paros?

Hello everyone ! :)
I am currently organize my summer travel trip in Greece and I would like to know what are the tings to do in Paros? Do you have any recommendations about some beaches, villages, cultural visits/places, restaurants address? Which company used to rent a quad?
If you have any recommendations for Milos/Sérifos/Sifnos : also welcoming ;)
Ps : I don't find any ferry to do Sifnos-Paros in August. It seems that the boat crossing are not yet available. Do you have any information about that?

I was in Paros for a few days and enjoyed my stay. I stayed in Parikia, the capital of the island. I took a full day boat trip with Uncle Ben and it was fun. Aliki is a nice small village with several good seafood restaurants. Naoussa is the most touristy part of Paros, and I was glad that I did not stay there. Many vacation homes are owned by Brits.

There is a ferry twice a day from Sifnos to Paros with Seajets. It's alternately the SuperJet or the Superjet 2. Two small, rather uncomfortable high-speed catamarans that tour the islands. The trip is approximately one hour.

Paros in August will be crowded. (and it's mainly French people who have bought houses there).

About Paros I made a map that might help you:

I often go to Paros but I have never rented an ATV or quad there, only cars. It's more easy for carrying things and less dangerous. In addition, 95% of roads, even dirt roads, do not require a quad or ATV.

As Barkinpark said, Naoussa, this pretty little fishing port of 3000 inhabitants in the north of the island, is the most touristy place, full of high-end boutiques, highly recommended by honeymoon sellers and other internet influencers paid by hotels to promote them.
In addition, the beaches are small and not great.

To discover the real Paros you have to go to Lefkes (the former capital of the island during the pirate era), and the other villages of Prodomos, Marpissa, Marmara. Also, by the sea, Piso Livadi, Drios, Ampelas, Aliki, and of course Parikia the ferry port and the capital.

Most of the best beaches are on the East coast, facing Naxos. The largest is Golden Beach. There are some small, less known beaches, less easily accessible and unorganized: Glyfa Beach, Tripiti Beach to the south east.
As well as others in the far northwest, towards Paros Park where the Paros lighthouse is located: Kamalia Beach and further after a 20-minute walk Tourkou Ammos Beach

From Paros you can easily go to the island of Antiparos by taking a small ferry from the port of Pounda or in summer also from Parikia. The crossing takes a few minutes

I also know Milos Serifos and Sifnos but my answer would be too long. :))

We were there last week (April 2024) and enjoyed our time in Naousa, the village at the northern tip of the island. It's less crowded than the area around the ferry terminal, with residential neighborhoods and a handful of hotels, restaurants, shops, and a nice harbor. We ate so much great seafood down there, and enjoyed the bakery and gyro shop. Elsewhere on the island, make sure to see "The church of 100 doors" which is a Byzantine church dating back to 326 AD, and is awesome. We also signed up for a cooking class at a restaurant in Drios which was great fun. We learned how to make some traditional Greek dishes then we got to eat our work and came home with a bunch of recipes. Suggest renting a car instead of a quad if you're traveling around on the main roads of the island any distance. We got a little Fiat for 30 Euros a day, well worth it. Have fun!

Another good experience on Paros would be the the Byzantine trail hike which starts in the village of Lefkes. The trail is 3.5 kilometers long.
