My husband and I have been to Athens before and have done many of the usual touristy things to do in the past. We will be on a cruise ship in September and one of our ports is Athens for the day. My husband CAN walk (but with some limitations) as well as having some vision issues. I am hoping that there might be some suggestions as to something that we CAN do there while we are in port that will be fun and not too taxing. Perhaps a private excursion?

You could stay in Piraeus where there are some interesting things to see and do.

If you've been to Athens before an alternative is to stay in Piraeus as there is a lot to do there.
It's more than just a place to get a ferry.
