Going on the 14 day tour in Sept. what electronics do you reccommend? I have an iPhone, an iPad, and I want to bring hair dryer and flattened. So 2 part question: what adapters are necessary? What type of chargers do you reccommend? Any other info re electronics would be appreciated. Thank you. Ps… is it necessary to bring both phone and iPad?
For the small ( low power) stuff, phone , ipad etc, this kind of plug adapter will do the job. Just use it with whateve you use at home.

Don't bother with the hair dryer, the hotels have them. Because of the power a hairdryer draws the adapter noted above is probably inadequate to handle the load.
Use of the adapter assumes your appliance is 110-220(240) compatible.
You've asked about both electronics and electrical appliances. The answers are different for each.
Electronics are almost always multivoltage and only need their usual charger plus the 2 pin EU adapter linked above. You decide whether you want to bring both phone and pad. Many people prefer to read or stream on their pad, as it's easier on their eyes. Others don't care.
Electrical appliances are different. Most US appliances are single voltage 110v. They will not work with the EU 220v supply, even with an adapter- you will fry the appliance and perhaps damage the hotel wiring. Hotels supply hair dryers. If you MUST have a flatiron, either buy a dual voltage travel iron and an adapter, or wait until you get there and buy an EU model.
All devices that only work on 110v and produce heat from the electric current (hair dryer, hair straightener, iron) must be strictly prohibited, even with a voltage converter. You risk electrocuting yourself or even starting a fire.
Only bring adapter plugs to connect your smartphones & tablets.
Wall sockets in Greece are type F also compatible with type C (non-grounded) power cords.
I bring a phone, tablet and a kindle paperwhite. The iPad is used in room for general browsing, email etc and it’s much easier for me to cull and edit pictures vs the phone. I also have a movie or two downloaded for the long plane ride. On a rare occasion the in flight entertainment system is down or a little more common the system at my seat isn’t functioning. So it’s nice to have something to fall back on. I find the kindle is much easier on my eyes for extended reading.
If you have a few devices to charge at the same time then a multi port charger can be useful. There are 2 main types. The wall wart that hangs from the wall outlet and the type that has a cord to plug into the outlet. Wall warts are more compact but wall outlets are sometimes placed in odd or difficult to reach places. Sometimes they are too heavy for the outlet and can fall out. The ones with a cord offer more flexibility but are bulkier.
You just need to bring a plug converter that plugs into an EU-format outlet and gives you a US plug. For electronic devices the charger block will be fine with the 220 volt Greek electricity. For heat devices like hair dryers and curling irons you need to make sure they are labeled for both 110 and 220 volt electricity, then they’ll plug in too. Don’t plug in a hair dryer that can’t handle 220 volts, though - best case is it’ll break and you’ll have to throw it away (don’t ask about worst case!). Good luck with the trip!
