Our group of six adults is planning a late April/ early May 2025 trip - 3 nights in Athens, 3 nights in Naxos, 3 nights in Santorini.
Any insights on the weather, crowds, and what's open/closed on Naxos and Santorini? And any "must do" suggestions for the Islands? We are doing a food/wine tour and Acropolis/Plaka in Athens.

Select "Things to do" on the TripAdvisor forum pages for your chosen destinations. When you first arrive go directly to your first island. Save Athens for the end so you have those extra days to return to the mainland in case of a mechanical breakdown, strike or bad weather grounding planes and ferries. Just about everything on those islands will be up and running by the time you get there. The weather can be a little unpredictable then, so pack clothing you can layer when extra warmth is desired. Expect crowds. Santorini has some excellent award-winning wineries and winery tours to consider.

Orthodox Easter is April 20, 2025. Those on Easter holidays may have the week or two weeks after Easter for travel. That may impact the crowds at some popular tourist destinations until early May.
