Water entry from the beach

Our upcoming Naxos visit will be basically beach centric, and we learned during our visit to Crete that entrance into the water can be interesting. Based on YouTube, the following are all pretty much sandy to the waterline: Agios Prokopios, Agios Anna, Maragas, Plaka, and Kedros. Do any of these have any (please - no bathing suit references LOL) unusual bottoms e.g. rock shelves, rocks, deep gravel etc. that might challenge an octogenarian? Thank you in advance!

Prokopios,Plaka and of course St George beach all have pretty gentle entry's into the sea. Plaka has a few sections where there is a shallow rock ledge. You can easily see them and can avoid stepping on them. There indeed are sections of Plaka beach with unusual bottoms not rocks.

St. George’s beach is gentle level entry and doesn’t get deep for a long way out ( so great for kids or those who can’t swim )
Agia Anna and Prokopios are gentle entry but do get deeper sooner .

We prefer latter now after several stays in town near St George’s beach , but still would recommend St. George’s for an older or mobility challenged person .
