Ideas requested - searching for large villa to rent in Crete for family of 16

Hello fellow travelers,

We’d like to rent a villa in Crete, preferably near Chania (but not necessary) for a group of 16 (8 couples/8 beds). We want to stay in one location in Crete for a week in September 2023, but it seems to be too early to make reservations on booking.com. Does anyone have a villa (single villa or side-by-side villas) that you’d recommend? Or recommendations for legitimate booking sites? Recommendations for other types of accommodations would also be appreciated. It’s a very large group and we may need to be creative! We’d like a pool with plenty of outdoor seating, but also important would be a large dining space to accommodate all 16 of us together and a kitchen large enough for many cooks.

Look at vrbo. I just did, using Sept. 2022. There are many listings with 8 or more bedrooms. Plenty with pools.

You could try looking at Villanovo.

I had been in contact with them for a large villa in the Cyclades a few years ago, I had found something else but they seemed reliable (and since that time I always receive offers from them).

I warn you that these are quite expensive villas (from around 10,000 to 20,000 Euros per week) but divided by the number of people staying, it can be interesting
You can always see their offers and compare prices (and included services) with what you find on Airbnb, Booking, and other websites.
