Four friends (senior girls!) will be debarking the Carnival Vista in Athens on September 13, 2016, beginning on September 3rd with a flight from Florida to Barcelona and cruising for ten days through seven ports. I would like to spend a couple of days in Athens (here on a mission--mother born in Piraeus many years ago) and then visit Santorini and Mykonos. We have a week to do this and so I would appreciate any suggestions regarding ferries, flying, and the order we should do this in. I would like to stay close to Piraeus/Athens and the main sites for the first couple or so nights and then cruise the islands--then back Athens and homeward bound. We are moderate spenders and would like to enjoy ourselves but not go overboard (no pun intended) with pricing. Thank you in advance for your generous help!
