We will be a party of 8 (4 couples) spending two nights in Athens before boarding a cruise ship next May. Does anyone have recommendations for a rental villa or house with 4 bedrooms close to the Acropolis? I've been looking on Tripadviser's Flipkey.com and have found some that look great but I want to make sure they are reliable. Any experience with that website or any recs for a place to stay? We don't need luxurious but nice and clean middle of the road pricing.

We use Airbnb in Athens once or twice a year and have always found them reliable. I can’t recommend anywhere specific as we’ve never rented anywhere as large as you need.

We used air Bnb to rent an apartment near the Acropolis this year. It had 3 bedrooms. In our looking, I only saw one place that was four bedrooms which would have been ideal for us. We choose the smaller place because of outdoor area which was superb. Greek homes in the city are generally not that large. I would be very careful about location-often times rentals sound more central than they are.
