Using Google Maps As My GPS in Greece?

This will be my 5th trip to Greece and I usually get the rental GPS unit when I rent a car. On my last trip I noticed that my Google Maps was giving good directions and it was easier to follow than the GPS unit. Has anyone had experience using Google Maps as their only GPS guide? Would you recommend it?

You'll do fine with Google Maps. In fact, you can download the entire map of Greece before you go and it will work without you being online or connected to GPS.
