I have a galaxy s7 edge with Verizon. I called them and asked them about using my phone in Greece and if they can provide me with the unlock code. They told me that my phone can be used in Greece with a US local prloaded sim. Does anyone know what Sim I need to purchase?

You don't need a new sim-what you need to do is call 611, ask for "global" and get either the $40 or $80 package so that you can make and receive calls without getting "HOSED." Then you can use your phone like you were in the U.S.
Interestingly, you don't need to use the country code, ect but can just call the local number.
