We will be travelling to Paros next summer and would like to avoid busy Athens if possible. Does anyone know if there is a summer Hydrofoil boat that goes between Crete and Paros or perhaps Rhodes and Paros? If not, what are our other options? Thanks.
Direct ferry Crete to Paros: Yes (from Heraklion between 4 and 6 hours crossing time depending on the ferries)
Direct ferry Rhodes to Paros: Definitely not
By ferry, Paros is only connected with the port of Piraeus (exceptionally port of Rafina) and with the other Cyclades Islands + Crete
By plane only with Athens
Dozens of major European cities have direct flights to Mykonos in high season. From Mykonos, Paros is just a one-hour ferry ride away. The situation is the same for Santorini, although ferries from Santorini take 2-4 hours to reach Paros.
Thank you everyone for this great advice.......I really appreciate it!
