Today is the day ! Fly Day !
Just a quick re-cap :
Fly Edmonton - Amsterdam (24hr) - en route to Athens . We have a room for the day in Amsterdam .
Fly to Athens , visit 2 days .
Rent car , (Swift Car Rental ) take our time driving Rick Steves' itinerary .
Delphi - 2 days (side trip Meteora)
Olympia - 1 day
Kardamyli - unwind for 3 days
Monemvasia - 1 day
Nafplio - 2 days
Return to Athens , drop car at airport , fly to Santorini.
Santorini - 3 days
Return to Athens , fly home.
We are touring the main attractions plus a few side trips along the way , we want to see everything , but we'll do what we can . Downtime is as important as touring around.
Having said that , any advice or suggestions are appreciated .
We'll check in here from time to time & fill you in .

Have a wonderful trip. You will be visiting some of my favorite places from our Greece tour in 2010. No advice or suggestions except to try all the local foods. I like that you have included downtime as I agree that it is equally important!

Scott, we're going next month so I'll be following your reports with interest. Our trip is Athens-Nafplio-Delphi-Athens-Crete over about two weeks. Have a wonderful time!
