I have hotel reservations on Hydra May 1-3, 2024. I planned to take a ferry from Piraeus Port in Athens, but there don't seem to be any ferries running that day. I've checked several ferry lines. Any suggestions for alternative transport?

In Greece, May 1st is a public holiday (labor day) and usually a strike day. No ferry is sailing that day.
But this year, with the Orthodox Easter taking place in the first week of May, it was decided to postpone this holiday to May 7th.
However, it is not yet clear at this time whether the ferry strikes will also be postponed on May 7.
The only 24-hour ferry strike confirmed at present will be on April 17th.
There is no other alternative to get to Hydra. See if you can move your stay a day earlier or later
