Train travel from Athens

I would like to know if it is possible to take a train from Athens to Paris. I can't get the information from Euro-rail.

Thank you.

No. At least not that I'm aware of. Best to fly to nearest non-Greek airport that has a good paris connection.

The info you want is here: https://seat61.com/Greece.htm
It is primarily about getting from London to Athens, but most of the routes involve going through Paris. It is a long way!

Forget Euro-rail, who told you to use them? They are a reseller which does not sell all tickets or all railway companies and only shows those train they sell tickets for.

" I can't get the information from Euro-rail."

That's because it's is a bad place to get information. Unless you have a specific reason to use it, avoid it.

Instead, go to two reliable sources.

1) To find train schedules easily for almost all of Europe, use the Bahn (German Rail) website http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en, following Rick's tutorial: http://www.ricksteves.com/travel-tips/transportation/trains/online-schedules

This will only have prices for trains that start or end in Germany.

2) To get lots of train information of all kinds, you can't beat the rail guru The Man In Seat 61. Here's his London to Athens page; reverse it and get off early, and you have Athens to Paris. https://seat61.com/Greece.htm#London%20to%20Athens

EDIT: cross posting with Chris F - and you see we gave the same information!

I would fly Aegean Airlines. I've flown them twice and loved it. Not expensive, either.
