We are planning a trip to Greece in the fall. I am looking to take the train from Athens to Meteora. Can anyone provide me with the link to the railroad company that provides this service.
Thanks,
Rick

For the Meteora the destination station is Kalambaka. Don't try to book far in advance, a week or two in advance is enough.
Currently, following last year's floods, a section of the journey is done by bus. Back into operation is not planned before 2025
Good luck to you if you can make it work. We tried this in 2019 and found we could just not make the train connections work. Perhaps it is easier now. We found it much easier and more fun to rent a car and drive to Meteora. Once in Kalambaka / Meteora there is no public transit so a car comes in very handy there anyway.
If you do want train, try this website, https://www.hellenictrain.gr/en; or https://www.seat61.com/international-trains/trains-from-Athens.htm
As Darren states, you really need a car to see the monasteries unless there is a local tour guide to take you around. We rented a car at the Athens airport after returning from Santorini. The drive is long but easy and straightforward.
