Tour guides in Crete

My friend and I will be visiting Crete in May. We would like to find a tour guide or a tour company that gives day tours of different areas of Crete. Any recommendations? (we are 2 females in our 60's that don't wish to rent a car as suggested on a different sight) Thanks

It will help if you can say where you will be staying, from which you wish to do day tours. Chania? Rethymnon?

We are staying in Heraklion but would like to visit Rethymnon and Chania if possible.
