Any recommendations for a tour guide for the Acropolis and six sites. My husband and I will be in Athens in early September and booked a timed ticket
Only official licensed guides are allowed to come with you to the archaeological sites.
It's possible that there are some at the entrance to the sites but if you want to book a private tour with a guide, here is the list of those who speak English:

Other examples of licensed guides that you can contact:

Group visits are also possible with licensed guides.
As for example with Athens Walking Tours:

We just had a private tour with Faye Georgiou last month and she was excellent; one of the best tours we’ve ever had.
She is fully licensed and guided us through the Acropolis grounds and the museum.
Faye is a Great guide.
Had her when we did the RS tour.
A bit surprised she hasn't retired, but good to know she is still going.
Thanks so much for the information
