We're looking at doing the Heart of Greece Tour in Spring 2027 and are trying to figure out if it makes more sense to be ON the tour during that period or plan to be done before May 2nd. Our plan is to go to Crete and Santorini afterwards but it looks like travel might be complicated during the period. We're flexible on when we go, and want to have decent weather, though we don't need beach/swim time. Has anyone done the tour that covers the Easter period? Any advice appreciated.

I took this tour in 2025 during Easter. Our guide was wonderful with helping us understand the traditions of the holiday and let us know when and where to be to see them ourselves. She even arranged for an outdoor feast for Easter Day. I can’t guarantee your guide will do the same, but it was really an Easter I will never forget.
The weather was warm and lovely on our trip and I enjoyed walking on the beaches but it was still a bit chilly for swimming.
