How much do you tip local guides? We decided on this trip that we would use some local guides (can't remember our Greek history lessons).

Howdy! We're using Athen's Walking Tours in Athens obviously. In Olympia we're using Niki from Olympia Tours, a Rick Steves guide, and her recommendation for Meteora. Someone else recommended our guide in Delphi. Other than that we're on our own for a total of 2 weeks. Leaving Monday the 4th!

Sorry Princess Pupule. I need several tries to answer all your questions, apparently. LOL. We're doing a food tour in Athens (Secret Food Tours were only private unfortunately, and the celebrity chef was more than we wanted to spend too), we're visiting the monasteries and caves (I hope), taking a hike with a guide too. With Niki we're seeing Olympia of course, a marble sculptor, and a dinner with a family. I hope to see the Diros caves too, and maybe a day trip to Hydra.
