We are planning to hike the Samaria Gorge in August. We'll be taking the first public bus from Chania to Omalos, plan to hike the gorge in 5 hours, putting us into Agia Roumeli around 1:00 p.m. Knowing that we need to be on the bus back to Chania by 6:30 p.m. from Chora Skakia, will there be enough time and multiple ferries to allow us a stop over in Loutro for an hour or two? Hoping this might be possible. Thanks for your advice in advance.
