We are a family of four, and our kids will be 12 and 14 this summer. We’re thinking about taking a three-week trip to Greece this August. Will August be too hot and crowded in Greece?
We’re open to rescheduling this trip for next June and doing a different destination in August if you think the weather and crowds will be an issue.

Next June! -- a MUCH better choice for weather, fewer crowds, even lodging prices. And the earlier in June the better... if you can manage it, try for a couple days after their schools let out.
