Some rental car companies at the Athens airport list in their Term and Conditions the details for their coverage to renters for Third Party Liability (both property and personal injury). Those that include these details typically provide about 1 million euro each to the renter for property and injury to third parties. I have reserved a rental car with a company that does not detail this coverage in their Terms and Conditions, and they have not answered my inquiries. I believe this coverage is compulsory for all motor vehicle operators in Greece, but I can not find this definitely stated anywhere plus I do not know what regulatory coverage level may be required. Looking for insight.
