For anyone interested in Greek drama there’s a free live performance from Epidavrus next week.

Not the same as being there but still a treat for those of us who like this kind of thing.

Thank you! That is intriguing. And thank goodness for subtitles.
Thank you so much, Alan. My weekend plans (phase 2.1) are now complete. My wife and I now know exactly what we will be doing at 19:00 BST on Saturday.
Thanks much - I know we will love it.
The plot fits so well with current life 2500 years on....
You’re both welcome.
Joel - yes subtitles definitely needed
Nigel - yes, ripped from today’s headlines!
They did The Persians last year which was great. May still be around on YouTube.
Alan
I saw that too. Absolutely excellently done.

I agree. If you’re a fan you may already know this but, if not, I found this series of documentaries on Greek theatre interesting. There are also some nice shots of Greece for those of us who are missing it!

Just finished The Frogs.
Almost completely true to the plot (missed the castanets) and incorporating astonishingly modern dance into a modern interpretation in a very classical style. Very much enjoyed - thanks for the tip...
