Thank you to everyone who passed along great travel tips for my recent trip to Greece. Your information was so helpful and made a big difference to this sometimes nervous traveler. In searching out a place to stay, I found a fantastic place in Plaka called In The Shadow of the Acropolis on Airbnb. It was fabulous and affordable and the location couldn't be beat. My husband and I walked everywhere and also had easy access to the metro. The apartment is in the Anafiotika neighborhood of Plaka and a couple of blocks back from the busy tourist area. Wanted to pass it along.
