Are there Taxi Stands in Old Town Nafplio? I’d like to take a taxi from Old Town to the Palamidi Fortress. I know there is the option of the Hop on, Hop Off bus, but it only runs hourly and I’d rather not wait.

Yes there are taxi stands in Nafplio. Just ask your hotel where to find them. Last year we took a taxi to Palamidi fortress. The driver waited for us and took us back to Nafplio. I do not remember how much that cost but the fare was negotiated and was reasonable.
