Swimming in the Sea by Heraklion 1st week of April: realistic? Pools impossible without Greek Dr approval? Frustrating! TIA

Unless you are into wild swimming April is way too early for sea swimming in Crete. Same for pools unless they are heated.

Cooooollllddd then! I have been there in late May/early June and even that late found it too cold for swimming.
