Sunset view oia restaurant

Can someone help me decide between kastro, Pelekanos, and ochre. I’m told 1800 isn’t the same type of view.

We are vegetarians so need non meat/or shellfish options. Amazing view is more important than gourmet meal…but want decent food ;) thank you!

Two of the three have their menus posted online (you can probably find the third on a review site). Vegetarians have it made in Greece, I would not worry one bit. It's a veggie lover's dream!

The best restaurants in Oia for the sunset view are Kastro, Fanari and Ochre Wine Bistro, followed by Pelekanos and Strogili. There is also a vegan cafe/bar in Oia, the Katharos Lounge. It's a bit out of the way so you'll need a rental car or taxi for the sake of convenience. Take the road going down to Amoudi Bay and turn right on the side road about 1/2 mile from the top. Follow the side road to the end to the Katharos Lounge.

I've never eaten at Ochre and I know from experience that Kastro's food is very good. I also think the view from Kastro is a little bit better.

I will offer another possibility for you to consider. When we were in Oia we had an excellent dinner at Oia Gefsis restaurant and the sunset view from their upper rooftop dining terrace is amazing. We loved the food and the service and view so much that we ate there on two evenings. Reserve a table on the upper terrace. This restaurant is tucked away off the promenade before the clock tower and down a path by the photography art shop. We had dessert at Pelekanos one afternoon and enjoyed that very much but were not there at dinnertime.
