We are planning a visit to Peloponnese in mid to late March and will be driving from Delphi to Olympia. We were wondering if it would be a worthwhile stop for two or three nights in a mountain village such as Lagkadia or Dimitsana to relax. Could one hike in the area that time of year or go to the monastery in Dimitsana or would it be too snowy? We would spend part of one day to tour Olympia. We have the time to do this leisurely, but not sure if this area is worth that length of time. Any suggestions? We would then continue our tour to Kardamyli, Mani and Nafplio after Olympia. Thanks for any input.

I've been to Dimitsana, but never in mid-March. I suspect it's going to be on the chilly side at that time of year. The historical averages are a high of 13C and a low of 2C, so there could still be snow.
