I am wondering is it worth the savings on an accommodation to stay in Vothonas?
What's the town like?
How easy/difficult is it to get to and from?
Not looking to do much in the way of night life and wouldn't mind being outside the areas of biggest tourist draw as we will be there in August (friend's wedding dictated the travel to Europe dates this time). we're planning to rent ATVs for a day or two. However, I would like to have the option to bus if possible and not always have to drive and some dining options nearby would be nice.
Never been to Santorini (or Greece) any advice would be welcome.
