Splitting a rental car or taxis to see Epidaurus and Mycenae from Nafplio on June 3 or 4

Hi is anyone interested in splitting a rental car or taxis to see Epidaurus and Mycenae from Nafplio on June 3 or 4? I am a solo traveler and don't want to rent a car but I've read (on this forum and others) that you can't do this via public transportation from Nafplio and the tour from Athens feels very rushed.

Are you already booked for a stay in Nafplio on either of these days, or just considering a possible 1-night stay there, coming from athens? Of course, there SHOULD be a Nafplio-based small-group tour.... as there once was, but which was discontinued about 15 years ago, and despite constant inquires, no local travel agency there has bothered to re-institute it. So one is left with only a rushed tour from Athens, or a v. costly persional tour from Nafplio.

The reason I ask is that there is a decent-price 1-night (2 day) tour from Athens offered by CHAT tours once a week -- which I've suggested to people in the past because it gives you a lot of Free Time, so you don't feel rushed. If that is your situation, here's the link: https://chat-tours.com/tour/mycenae-nafplio-2-days-tour-6/

This tour #6 has changed (in ways I dislilke) but is currently the ONly 2-day from Athens. You see the Corinth Canal & Mycenae on outbound day, arrive late afternoon and have free time & enveing in Nafplio. Day #2 is free until after llunch, then one is given a walk-around "tour" of Nafplio by a guide (totally unnecessary. (Formerly the tour took you to Epidaurus aftr lunch on day #2). However, It's my thought that on such a tour, someone like you probably could easily find 2-3 others eager to share a taxi to Epidaurus & back on AM of Day 2. And then, instead of followng a guy around the streets & lanes, you coul have a nice Swim in the cute town beach.

Problem is, the website doesn't say WHICH 2 days of week it is offered -- I've emailed them at [email protected] and asked for urgent response, because many times a year, we get queries lilke yours.
PS: if indeed you'd consider such a trip, please know that Athens hotels are VERY used to people leaving for 1 night for a tour, then returning, and can stow your large bags in a secure storage room & welcome you back the nwxt night.
