We had a flight planned for April 24th from Athens to Naxos. It was cancelled and I was emailed several times about the cancellation. Each time I replied and requested a refund and they replied that I could only get a voucher. I have not heard anything from them lately and I was going to follow up today, but thought I would check to see if anyone on this forum had received a refund from Sky Express or only a voucher. We had that routing planned for April 3, but moved it to Sept 18, no change fee. So, can't help with the voucher/refund question, but there's a phone number on their website +30 2152156510. Maybe try calling to see what they can do for you.
Voucher is pretty standard. Companies are frantic to preserve cash. Inquire about the terms of the voucher.
I've read that if the voucher isn't used before a stated length of time then you can request a refund once that time has elapsed. I'm not sure if this applies to Sky Express but it's worth looking into.
This is pretty much the policy for both sky express and Aegean. Most of the hotels are also using the same law that passed due to COVID 19. You can change the date of your flight or get a voucher for one year. Not much that you can do.
Thanks to everyone who replied! I will try contacting Sky Express tomorrow and inquire about getting a voucher and find out what restrictions are involved.
Update- I heard back from Sky Express the day after I contacted them with a voucher number and PIN number and a voucher expiration date of December, 2021.
