We are finalizing our trip to Greece in September of 2025. We will be there about 3+ weeks and visiting Milos, Ios, Sifnos and Serifos.
We are looking for recommendations of restaurants and where to stay in Serifos. We were thinking about staying in Livadi area yet at this late date looks like quite a few of hotels/apartments on booking.com are reserved. Are there any other platforms you would use for rentals besides Airbnb and Vrbo? Thank you.

Try accommodations right in front of Livadakia Beach. For example, Coralli or Alexandros Resort.
I think they have availability.
It's a few meters from the beach and a 5-minute walk from Livadi Port and all its restaurants and services.
We stayed in a nice Airbnb nearby, but it's not available for your dates.

I can only second Jo-Lui's great suggsstion regarding Livadakia Beach... its just over a headland back from the port village, and is one of the most charming beaches of all the islands i've been to. Alas havent been back since before Covid, but I believe the 2 places she mentioned are the only ones directly on the beach.
When I was there (usually May), Alexandros had the only taverna on the beach... and if you were wise, you stopped in there at mid-day or afternoon, and checked what was on the stove or in the oven and sounded good, and then "reserved a serving." That's because they only prepared a set amount. One time, they served us such a deeelilsh dish of baked chickpeas, we raved to the waiter... and he brought the cook out so we could applaud, and then he explained (with waiter translating) exactly how he prepared it.
