Semeli Hotel On Mykonos

I have been looking at that hotel as well.....also Grand Beach Hotel, close to the city. I cant decide weather to be close to the city or out by a beach....so many choices.

Whether to stay at the beach or in town is the big decision for Mykonos visits. Depends on when u plan to visit. Except for July-August, when the beach gets rowdy, most of the nightlife is in town ... and for beach-stayers who come into town to party, a risk factor. The bus system closes down before midnight when much club life just getting started. AND Mykonos has a very limited number of taxis, and drivers have their own choice of when to quit work.... thus on any given night, a number of partiers stranded with no way to get back to hotel. Just be aware of this.

The Grand Beach is within walking distance to both town and beach.....but you are right about what you plan to do. We are only there 3 nights. Planning day trip to delos and renting ATV or moped to see the Island. Would like a nice hotel to return to late afternoon with a nice pool setting as well as wake up to a nice view. There are so many choices it is making it hard to decide. Ill get there.

Monica, I have looked at so many hotels in Mykonos and read many reviews....Semeli looks good, if that's the location you want...and your travel agent did recommend the hotel.

We will be the mid Oct for 3 days, so I hope it won't be too" Crazy" that time of year. We really wanted a place where we didn't need car , no taxis where we can walk to everything and hire a driver to see the island or take an island tour, spend a day on Delos, and any other suggestions appreciated, love to hike, wine taste visit quaint villages etc.. not going to sit on the beach..
