Santorini, go down to Amoudi Bay and eat at Katinas. You can walk down, taxi back up. (We walked both ways.)
Naxos and Paros are especially wonderful! I much more “real Greek” than Santorini. Eat by the water in Naoussa. Actually, anywhere you order fresh fish and a Greek salad will be excellent.

Our favorite Naxos restaurant is Nostimon Hellas. Unique Greek cuisine, and lovely setting in their courtyard. Make reservations. Great public transportation to sites.

On Santorini (Fira) we enjoyed the traditional Greek food and view at Stani. Another favorite is Aktaion in Firostefani. This is the oldest Taverna on the island. The food and view was exquisite.
We made reservations for both locations. We took an island tour that highlighted Aktrotiri, Red & Black Beaches (lunch was extra), Winery Tour & tasting, and Sunset at Oia.

On Santorini, I would recommend STANI too. We loved the hike between Fira and Oia but it is a hike--about four hours with all the pictures we took. Most beautiful hike I have ever taken. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants in Amoudi Bay but we swam there. You walk through the restaurants and continue on a path to some rocks. Our young adult children jumped off some man made cliffs into the water. I slid in and my husband and his brother watched all the action.

On Naxos rent a car and drive up to the mountain villages. Explore the countryside. Explore Naxos town. See if you can find Taverna to Kastro. Its hidden high up in the town just outside the Kastro walls.

Check "Things to do" and "Restaurants" on TripAdvisor for all 3 of these islands.

Santorini: Akrotiri archaeological site when they first open in the morning at 8am to avoid the mad crush of tour bus groups arriving after 9am.

Another shoutout for a favorite village destination on Naxos. We took a bus from Naxos Town to the beautiful mountain village of Apeiranthos. The bus dropped us off for about 3 hours. We had a delicious lunch at a family owned restaurant followed by a walk through the village that included streets paved with marble, Venetian ruins, museums, and shops filled with local products. It was the highlight of our stay!
