Our family of six will be staying four nights in Oia on Santorini. We are unsure if it would be best to rent a car for these days (we are both arriving and departing from the airport), or just use public transportation/taxis to get around. We'd like to visit a beach, explore Fira a bit, go on a cruise to the volcano/beach, hike, and lay by the pool! While we realize the car would give us more flexibility, our goal for these days is to relax, and are unsure how hard it is to get around. I did check with where we are staying (Filotera Villas) and they do provide free parking.
Also, if anyone has suggestions for the best cruise company to book with for our family (our kids are all teenagers), that would be wonderful. Thank you!
