I'm a mid 20s female, looking for a hostel in Santorini in the beginning of November. Any suggestions? I'll be there for 3 days and am looking to meet people, but not spend too much time inside. Otherwise, other lodging ideas?

Santorini is very quiet in November..
Do be careful and read reviews before you commit.. also, depending on your budget you may be able to afford a small single room in a decent small hotel.. its slow season so rates should be lowest of year.

I'd suggest you check the ferry schedules as well as the weather in November.
As I recall the ferry schedules change some time in Mid-late October & they may be limited & thus may only be available a few days per week.
We spent a few nights at Gaby Apartments in early October (2008) & we got a great deal ;-)

For hostels, check Caveland Hostel, Youth Hostel Anna and Santorini Camping (they also have rooms).
Your best chance for finding a cheap hotel room in November will be to use the filter system at www.booking.com to find out which ones will still be open. You can search village by village or island-wide.
Ferry schedules for November are apparently not yet available but will be soon. You will find them here: http://www.openseas.gr/en/ferries-schedules/piraeus_athens-santorini_thira. Normally there is a daily ferry between Athens/Piraeus and Santorini that departs Piraeus at 7:30am and arrives at Santorini sometime around 3:00PM.
