Thanks to all for the wonderful advice already given. I am back for another couple of questions.
We had a couple more questions as we plan our time in Santorini. Does anyone have feedback on catamaran-type sunset cruises there? We are considering one, but we were not sure about tying up 6 plus hours when there is so much to do. It seems by the time they pick you up from your hotel and you get back, that takes a full day, though seeing some of the beaches sounds fun. I am wondering if it is worth it, or if the time is better spend just exploring the island in other ways.
Second, any advice for car rental companies? We are staying near Imerovigli. We will be looking to rent a car for a day so we could check out a couple of wineries and the Akrotiri ruins. When we visited 20 years ago, we did an ATV, but it sounds a bit too crowded to use them these days.
