Only 7 weeks until the tour begins. Is anyone else here going to be on it?
And if you've been on it, tips please! I'll be in Athens for 4 days pre-tour, flying home after breakfast at the end of the tour.

Hola, Chani! I'll be beginning that tour on June 5, arriving in the Athens area May 30. So, enjoy, and send hot tips on to me, OK? Shalom, Larry
I also will be watching the replies to,your question. We are arriving in Athens 4 days early also, but our tour starts May 1! We have decided to not do an island during this time and prefer to do perhaps northern area around Meteoria?
Bump!! Have you taken the tour? What are your tips?
Thanks☺☺
Not to be obnoxious, but...I will...my countdown: 3 days and I'm on my way to Athens! Suitcase is coming in at 19 lbs and underseat with DSLR and equipment, etc. is 7 lbs. Final weight. ;)
We took the tour in 2015 and absolutely loved it! One thing you cannot miss--walk up the little hill, Fillopapou Hill (across from the Acropolis) just before sunset for the most amazing views. Bring a camera and a flashlight. You will not be disappointed. If you're looking for a unique souvenir, visit the Poet sandal maker in the Plaka. Athens is a very walkable city. Also, the Ancient Agora is wonderful, beautiful, and peaceful. My husband took a fantastic picture that we blew up on canvas and is hanging above our piano. There is a little laundry right near the hotel, plus I think most of the tour hotels offered laundry service, so no worries there. Take water sandals because the beaches are rocky (although you can probably get them there). We swam in the Agean Sea, the Mediterranean, and the Ionic Sea on the tour. Pretty cool.
