Hello. We will be doing the drive from Delphi to Nafplio. It's a long one. I assumed we'd head back the way we came toward Athens but now see an alternate via Galaxidi and Rio that's currently showing the same time. Could others who have done both drives comment. I do have a DD prone to carsickness so if roads are more winding on the coastal route, that would be important to know. Thanks!

The road from Delphi down to the coast winds a bit, but no more so than the road east via Arachova. Once you’re on the coast the road is pretty straight and, once over the Rio bridge, you are on motorway along the top of the Gulf of Corinth.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stop I’d recommend Nafpaktos rather than Galaxidi. Galaxidi is a pleasant little place but Nafpaktos has a scenic and historic harbour plus beaches on both sides with seaside tavernas and cafes.
