Rick Steves Audio Guide Download V/S Guided Tour for Acropolis

Any suggestions which one is better Rick Steve Download audio guide Free v/s Guided Tour 35 Euro to visit Acropolis. Purchse tickets separately.

I read better to visit Acropolis museum first then Acropolis.

If guided tour, option is 9:00 v/s 17:30. Which time will be better on June 11/June 12.

I see Rick Steve has other audio guides for Athens City Walk, Ancient Agora and National Archeological Museum

I will have only 1.5 days starting June 11 13:00 and whole June 12 after returning from Santorinin

I reach June 11 around 1 PM Athens (from Santorini). Stay at Electra Palace.

I can visit Acropolis museum - NO rick steve's audio guide but there is other audio tour
https://cliomusetours.com/tours/acropolis-museum-skip-the-line-ticket-and-audio-tour/
or Guided group tour at 2 PM but only for 1 hour 15 minutes

and do 17:30 Acropolis evening tour same day - for 2 hours

June 12 - I can do Ancient Agora, Athens City Walk and visit National Archeological museum in afternoon from Ricks' Audio guide
Do I need guided tour for any of these?

I think that would be major sites to visit in Athens in 1.5 days

Any suggestions

You do not need to hire a guide for any of it. I used Rick’s audio app for both the Acropolis and Ancient Agora and it was the easiest out of all his self-guided tours. Arrive by 8a before the crowd and temperature becomes unbearable. I visited the Acropolis first then the museum afterwards and did not feel the need to do it in reverse. Besides, the museum is air conditioned so visiting the Acropolis first before it gets too warm outside is the better option. I did not feel a guide would make the visit better because the museum is well organized and easy to follow.
Afterwards, take a taxi to the National Archeological Museum but make sure when paying the driver, you give him one bill at a time so he can’t tell you that you gave him a five when you know you gave him a twenty. I did not feel the need to use a guide here either. This is the best archeological museum I’ve visited.
The next morning be at the Ancient Agora by 8a before it gets too hot. Rick’s audio app is easy to follow here too.

Visit the Acropolis Museum first and then the Acropolis on arrival day. The next morning visit the Ancient Agora that opens at 8a and then take a taxi to the National Archeological Museum.

You don’t need to buy tickets until you get there. I was there last Jul and never waited in line for anything.
