My wife and I will be visiting Rhodes at the end of the May for 3-4 days. This is our first trip to Rhodes. Now after searching the travel sites I am more confused than before starting the search. So any help from someone who stayed in Rhodes and can recommend from personal experience will be greatly appreciated. We love to be near beach and stay at a hotel that has a great pool. Same time we don’t like to be isolated from everything.

I know that Rhodes has lots of hotels with pools along the beaches, but I can't recommend one personally. For our trip to Rhodes, we stayed in the old town, at a wonderful little place called Hotel Attiki. It's fun to be able to walk out of your hotel and explore the medieval city without having to take a bus or taxi. You can easily take a day trip to one of the beaches on the island. Or to one of the nearby islands.

Ditto what Charlene said but we stayed at Moschos Hotel, a short walking distance from the old town and the new town (eat at Kukos if you have a chance), and a pebble beach.
