Returning rental car to airport

That depends on who you rented the car from. Tell us who your rental company is so we are not giving advice based on guesses as to who you rented from.

My experience is that it is rather easy returning cars to airports...once you get to the airport. The signage is some variation of RENTAL CAR RETURN with plenty of advance notice. Never been to Athens but Rome, Milan, Madrid, Paris were no problem.

We rented from Swift / Avanti, a local company, not a chain. They told us exactly where to park the car and leave the keys in the glove box. Super easy.

Another locally owned rental company is ACR. Athens car rental. They have the car waiting for you at arrivals and meet you as you depart arrivals area. The car is parked on a road right at the departure level of the terminal. You pay for the rental, have a walk around to note dents or scratches and away you go.

On return you take the car to Departures level and ACR meets you there to take back the car.
We have been using ACR for years.

Thanks everyone. My husband did the arrangements with a local car rental company. So we'll ask the car rental company.

It's been a few years ago but as I recall returning our rental car to the Athens airport was easy.
