restaurant recommendations for crete and naxos

Crete is a big island, where will you be?

We didn't visit Crete but we did visit Naxos. In Naxos town, we loved these restaurants:

Meltemi Restaurant - I had an eggplant stuffed with veal (Kalogiros) and my husband had lamb with lemon sauce. We shared one of the best baklava's on our trip. The owner was sitting at the table next to us, and he asked my husband if he wanted more lemon sauce. Then proceeded to talk about the restaurant's history.

To Elleniko - I had moussaka and my husband had goat with potatoes and vegetables. After dinner, the restaurant served a complimentary coconut cake and after-dinner liqueur. One of our favorite restaurants!

Soulatski - located in the Main Square. We had a delicious breakfast here. There were lots of Greek locals, people who obviously knew each other. A great place for people watching.
